Thank you for purchasing a Porter Guitar. We hope all our hard work and dedication to making this instrument truly yours shows every time you pick it up. Each Porter Guitar comes with a limited lifetime warranty.  Details of what the warranty does and doesn’t cover are listed below. Please keep a copy of this for your records. Warranty information will also be available on our website.

 

Warranty Covers

  • Labor and materials deemed necessary for the lifetime of original owner who registers within 30 days of receiving their Porter Guitar

  • All Hardware, electronics, Tuners for 1 year

  • Defects in wood, paint, or workmanship will be covered as determined by Porter Guitars

  • Return Shipping for warranty work

  • Replacement of instrument if damaged while servicing warranty work

  •  

 

Warranty Does not Cover

  • Damage due to neglect or improper care/storage of guitar, improper use or accident.

  • Loss or theft of guitar. (please consider insuring your guitar on your own)

  • Damage due to weather related conditions (ie flood, fire, tornado)

  • Damage due to Humidity and other temperature extremes.

  • A guitar with any alterations performed to the original guitar specs matching the serial number, or any alterations to the serial number itself

  • Normal wear and tear such as scratches, hardware plating wear, worn frets, string replacement.

  • Damage to finish in any way, including discoloration, cracking (Usually, this is weather/condition related)

  • Damage as a result of Shipping

  • Issues regarding perceived color matching shades ect.

  • Shipping costs for non warranty repair work (Return Shipping will be paid by Porter Guitars for warranty work only)

 

Porter Guitars will not be liable for any damage or injury resulting from the use of our Products and the original purchaser should assume responsibility for proper care and safety when using the instrument.

 

Warranty must be mailed back within 30 days for it to be valid

Should your guitar get damaged will make every effort to repair your Porter Guitar as cost effectively as we can. Any repair requests can be emailed to Info@porterguitars.com. Be sure to include serial number, model number and description of guitar and repair needed. A quote will be given to you, and we can go from there.
