Please read the following before placing your order. By placing your order, you agree to these terms. Please let us know you have read this agreement by selecting "Yes" on the Online Order Form

 

Order Details

All Porter Guitars are made to order, and we will do our best to deliver your guitar in a timely matter, but will not sacrifice quality on something we are putting our name on. Best estimates are 3-5 months on most orders, sometimes longer depending on the wait times. At the time of your order we will give you an estimate of the delivery time of your guitar.

 

Ordering

The Ordering process can take some time to make sure all the options are exactly how you want them. If you are interested in purchasing a guitar, please follow the steps below to get the process started.  For all other smaller purchases, like pickups, wood, and other items, please use the Online Store

The Ordering Process

-Contact Us with any initial questions

-Fill out the Online Order Form or let us know if you would prefer a print order form, or to order by phone.

-We will send you a confirmation of your options within  few days of receiving your order. If you do not receive order confirmation, contact us to make sure we got the email, mail, etc.

-Once options and price are agreed upon,  we set up payment schedules, and collect a down payment.

-please make sure you have read and signed our Purchase Agreement

-Your down payment secures your spot in the build line. We will then give an estimate of delivery time.

-Guitars will ship once they are paid in full.

-Payment terms are typically broken down in thirds:

 

1.Order is received and a minimum $1/3 deposit is placed.

2.The remaining balance is split into two payments: (One when ready for spraying, one before guitar ships)

3. Payments are worked into the typical delivery times of the guitars (3-5 months)

 

Order Agreement

All orders require a down payment of 1/3 of the final guitar price at the time of ordering. The remaining balance will be split up over 3-5 months. Guitars will not ship until they are paid in full. The initial deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to purchase materials for your guitar. All custom guitar orders (Guitars that are not based on one of our models) cannot be refunded. Once your order is placed, you agree to complete the payment on your guitar and we agree to deliver it to you.

 

Payments can be made on the Customer Support Page, or we can set you up with an online payment system for Credit or Debit cards. We also will do paper invoices and accept check or money order payments if you prefer that method. Please let us know!

 

Payment Plan Agreement

Payment Plans are accepted, but are subject to approval by Porter Guitars. Please contact us at info@porterguitars.com to let us know you are interested in a payment plan. We will send you a simple application, and will let you know the status of your application shortly after we get it back.  We don't offer many payment plans at all, but will make some considerations. Payment plans allow you to pay for the guitar in terms of 6 months. Interest will apply to payment plans, and the minimum monthly payment will range from $175-$225 per month depending on the model selected. Orders that are paid in full will be placed AHEAD of payment plan orders in the build line. Guitars will ship when paid in full.

 

Additional Costs

All costs will be agreed upon upfront, and we will not add any charges to your guitar once we lock in the price at the beginning of the order. Custom options like woods, hardware color ect, will be listed in your order as custom options. Let us know what you are looking for and we will try and find the best price for that option. Please see the price lists page for an idea of what some custom options might cost.

 

Some additional costs that will be added to the guitar price are shipping (We prefer 1-2 day shipping so the guitar is not out in the "Mail" for too long).
